Solo day trip 

The trip was fun, snowtubing was cool. My only gripe is that the food could have been better, a voucher for the food in the bar area would have been better, being limited to pasta, meatballs, veggies and a salad, was kind of not worth the price, the dessert was probably my favorite part of the meal! The seating area could have been more accommodating as well. I also think that because there was a band playing we were limited to only shop in a specific area because the band nastily told us we couldn't go around their equipment to the section where the refrigerators were located. 

Fun Little Day Trip

It was my first time skiing and this was a great place to start! Sourced was professional, on time, and took care of everything so we could just show up with weather appropriate clothes and get skiing! Would definitely consider another trip with them!

Awesome trip

Overall a really good experience, we were roughly 45 mins late coming back since we were waiting for 2 people to come, I think there should be a 15 min late policy, but I also don’t partly blame the people as we only found out our return time on the bus when we got there. Maybe i missed this, but there should be some additional transparency on when we would be leaving, like way earlier in the sign up process

Great Experience

Mountain Creek ski trip (01/31/26) — Overall, a good and enjoyable ski trip with Sourced Adventures, thanks largely to strong customer service and good organization. While there were a few logistical hiccups (below) the value (especially the lift ticket), friendly staff, and responsiveness made it worth recommending—particularly for people who want a fun, low-stress outing rather than a hardcore ski trip.

this was my second event with this company. My first was a kayak and winery trip a long time ago, which I really liked. This was my first ski trip with them, as I usually go with OVRIDE. I booked partly because of the Black Friday discount and partly to see how Mountain Creek has changed. It’s the closest ski resort from Manhattan, and I hadn’t been there in about 15 years.

Most things worked quite well, with a few issues. For skiers, this trip has real value since the Mountain Creek day lift ticket alone costs around $120. The resort itself has improved a lot, with a ski-in/ski-out hotel and three interconnected mountains. The bus was comfortable, and the driver was very kind and drove safely.

The organization was generally good, except for three issues:
1.	Union Square pickup was chaotic. Three buses going to different locations with different companies arrived at the same time. Clear signage on the bus identifying it as Sourced Adventures would be very helpful.
2.	Delayed departure: The bus left about 20 minutes late because one party needed time to find parking for their car (!). We were initially told we would leave the mountain around 3:30 pm, which is quite early compared to other companies (usually 4:00–4:30), especially since Mountain Creek is only about 90 minutes from Manhattan and we started late. After I contacted customer service, the departure time was adjusted to 4:00 pm. We arrived back in Manhattan around 5:15 pm.
3.	Mountain Creek ticketing issue (not Sourced Adventures’ fault): The resort’s ticket coding system was not working, which caused additional waiting time. I was surprised that no one else in our group had their own gear, so they needed to sort out the notorious rental process. And this trip felt more on the “fun and social” side rather than for serious skiers.

The weather was fantastic, which helped compensate for the crowded lifts and long wait times.

The best part was the customer service. Real people are working and responding promptly. Before the trip, I contacted them about weather concerns and received reassurance and practical tips. During the trip, I communicated about delays, reduced mountain time, and even the noisy movie on the bus that made it hard to sleep—and all of these concerns were addressed.

Despite a few issues, I would recommend Sourced Adventures. This is a great option for people with diverse interests who want to try many experiences without much hassle.

Very well orginized

Overall trip was awesome, but was very disappointed with Pennington farm. Food was horrible. That’s the only complaint I have meatballs was disgusting flavorless pasta taste list. They can have a better menu than that and the one drink was cheap. Otherwise, the trip  was a beautiful experience, but make sure you eat good and take food. Pennington farm food is horrific unless you go to the bar order some hot wings.

Wonderful day trip

I had an absolutely amazing time on our Mountain Creek ski trip, especially as a first-time skier. From start to finish, everything felt seamless and stress-free. The staff made the experience fun, exciting, and welcoming, which really helped ease any nerves I had about skiing for the first time.

The atmosphere was energetic and friendly, the instruction was clear and encouraging, and I felt supported the entire time. What really stood out was how well everything was organized, allowing me to focus on having fun instead of worrying about logistics.

Whether you are brand new to skiing or have some experience, there is something for everyone. I would absolutely recommend Mountain Creek Ski trip to anyone looking for a memorable ski experience, and I would not hesitate to do it again.


First Time Skier 

Sourced Adventures Great - Mountain Creek Meh

I was a bit disappointed this time (Jan 31) because we had to be at the bus at 3:30 pm, which meant finishing skiing about an hour before the lift time I paid for. Combined with the pass issue in the morning, I ended up losing about an hour and a half of skiing. Last time (Jan 17th) we left at 4:30 pm, which felt perfect. I’d really love to keep using your tour, but the early departure makes it difficult for me

The bus and crew were prompt and friendly. They made the day much easier and had us on the slopes very quickly after arriving. Would definitely do it again 

Great day time activity

We had an amazing snow tubing experience! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, everything turned out spectacular. The food at Pennings Farm was absolutely delicious and made the day even better. The hot chocolate at CampGaw was so good—perfect for warming up after the slopes. Most of all, the hosts were incredibly fun and kind; they made us feel welcome from start to finish. It was a memorable day full of laughs, great vibes, and wonderful people. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

Had an AMAZING time visiting the orchard with John (driver) Colin and Sylvia! The ride was smooth and any changes were communicated well. The hosts were both so great as they were super personable! I would definitely take another adventure with them! 

Apple Picking Day Trip from NYC

Amazing Time

My group & I enjoyed our experience rivertubing, both guides were excellent and very helpful especially after falling into the river multiple times (oops) they were still always there to make sure no one drowned or drifted away. Only thing that was out of their control was how cold the temperature was but otherwise we had a great time on the river. The brewery was very short and the beer that was offered was not the best but it was still a great day & I would definitely try out other trips as well!

Very enjoyable. 3 different wineries and vibes. Would have appreciated a discussion of the wines before tasting.  A farm stand stop on the way home would have been great too. Loved the day though. Wonderful!

Lovely day out east

We loved the entire trip!  We found our favorite apples, there was a nice variety of  food, relaxed activities, and people were generally nice!  There were ample well maintained rest rooms.  Everything went smoothly.  Thank you Sarah and Mike as well as the bus driver for a safe, smooth, and comfortable journey!

Apple Picking Was Amazing!!

It was a great experience. The organizer , Kaya , was terrific.

Great adventure 

It was my first time doing apple picking but wasn't my first source adventure experience. Overall, it was okay. A few suggestion more entertainment for adults and a tour guide person. It's a family-friendly environment.

This was a great trip.  There were a good selection of types of apples. There's also a pumpkin patch. The food and drink selection was good too.

Nice tour on Long Island

Very well planned trip from NYC. All we had to do was show up to the bus -- Everything was communicated ahead of time, so we showed up with snacks and drinks, towels, and a good attitude. It's great to be able to do these adventures from the city so easily.

Great, Well-Planned Trip! 

It was well organized and lots of fun. Cecilia, our guide was amazing. I do think the lunch could have been a little better but it was okay and served its purpose . Overall, a good time was had and I highly recommend.

Great excursion away from the City.  The kayak trip on the River was very scenic.  The winery had a great band and offered some nice wine, cider, and sangria.
Cecilia was a great tour guide!!  She made the entire experience a very memorable and fun day!

Fun Kayak and wine tour

I really enjoyed this tour experience. All three wineries were great in there own way, especially Raphaels! & Kira was a great host! Shout out to her/them! 

Great tour

I loved kayaking even though it was a bit long I still had fun. The winery was fabulous even though it was hot my friends and I still made the best of it. This is my second excursion with Sourced adventures and can't wait for Sunday for the Long Island tour.

Great time

I went on this tour with my fiancé to celebrate a friend's birthday! It was six of us total in her group. We had a great time, and are definitely looking forward to a future Sourced Adventures trip. I am struggling to remember the other team member's name, but both that lovely person and Kaia were absolutely fantastic!  Our only semi-negative feedback is about the bus seating and the pick-up location. We received an email prior to departure with the pick-up location, but the actual pick-up was across the street. Because of this, we arrived to the actual pick-up later than we arrived at the noted location and were unable to sit together. The bus itself was clean and the mix-up didn't ruin the experience, but led to an uncomfortable start to the day being separated from our party (and each other). Maybe this could be remedied with some assigned seating somehow? 

Boozy bday celebration! 

We loved our trip and felt that the experience was well worth the price! Colin and Michael were amazing guides and we are even signing up to do Apple picking on October 4th with both of them!

This has now been the 6th time taking an adventure with sourced adventures, and they did not disappoint! I had a great time on this outing. I went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Colin and Michael were fantastic - friendly, accommodating. Our driver Didi managed NYC traffic expertly! The vineyards we visited were lovely. Just a wonderful day!

Amazing Day Trip from NYC

July 27th 2025. My group had an amazing time, I went with my girl. And we met 2 lovely lady and a handsome gentleman who came alone so..  we team up with Joe and had a blast. She's amazing at what she does.

Our tour guides were awesome and each winery had its own unique beauty. All the wines were good and they even had some Sangria's to purchase. Definitely a great tour for beautiful pictures.

This trip was so wonderful. It picked up promptly and Collin and Matthew were so kind and friendly. We had the best time on this trip. The wineries were unique in their own right and we had the perfect amount of time at each stop. 

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Collin, Michael and Andrew. I would go on this tour every weekend if I could. Highly recommend.

I recently joined the River Tubing & Brewery Day Trip (NYC) with Sourced Adventures and had an awesome time! It was a fun and unique way to spend the day outside the city. The experience was well-organized, and the team—Adam, Michael, and Maggie—were all super friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the trip.

There were a few moments on the river where we drifted close to shore or got a bit stuck, but that’s just part of tubing and definitely not the company’s fault—it added to the adventure in a way! The tubing itself was relaxing and scenic, and the brewery stop after was a great way to wrap up the day with some good drinks and conversation.

All in all, it was a memorable trip and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and low-key escape from the city. Thanks to the Sourced Adventures team for a great experience—I’ll definitely be back for another outing!

The ski trip was very smooth and operated professionally. Sara and Kara were great guides and made sure we were well-informed and prepped for the day. I was pleased with the very convenient experience overall and would consider booking a snow activity day-trip again.

Friendly service and very convenient

The tour guides - Amber and Adam were both super fun and engaging! Had a wonderful time and tubing it was a perfect about of time (not too long in the cold and not too short) and the brewery was a nice touch! Food was nice as well options weren’t too wide ranged but food was still good. 

Snowtubing & Brewery  

The trip was a great success and Collin our host was the best. It kind of felt like a field trip you’d take in elementary. It was a great experience but I have a few notes. For future trips it would be great to know what mountain we are going to beforehand. Though transportation is provided the website lists two locations. As well as a new restaurant would be great as well. Pennings was nice and calm but the food was average. Regardless it was fun!

Can’t wait to do it again!

I’ve done this trip with my friends for at least the past 4 years. Always a good time. Just note that they give you a form to complete if you have dietary restrictions, but even if you complete it on time don’t expect to be accommodated. I’d bring snacks. My friend completed the form and notified them of her tomato allergy and everything was covered in tomato sauce. When she asked about the accommodation the staff at the restaurant just shrugged it off and said that’s all they have. So just make sure you have food you can eat with you.  Not sure the point of completing the form if they won’t accommodate. It would have been easy to set aside a few meatballs without sauce.  Otherwise, the guides were great and it was good time!

Professional and Easy Going

Jo and Adam were fantastic guides and honestly everything about Sourced Adventures was organized, comfortable, and super easy. Mountain Creek however, didn't really seem to care too much about the "lesson" we were promised. They really left us out there to fend for ourselves. I would definitely book again though, and plan to!

Easy Peasy

We had a nice time! We previously went river tubing and this time we went snow tubing. It’s a great resource for taking a day trip outside the city without all the planning, car rental, etc. The timing is perfect, doesn’t feel rushed, it’s a lot of fun, comfortable ride, friendly staff! I do recommend.

Amazing service!!

My trip overall was amazing. The staff is amazing. The food was amazing. The staff was on point in all aspects and location. At some points they even went above and beyond for customer satisfactory. 10 out of 10. I’ll be back again.

My partner and I enjoyed ourselves it was her birthday and we decided we wanted to go SnowTubing it was the best decision made the ride to and from had no hiccups the place was packed with people and the overall experience we enjoyed. We will definitely go back 

A Time was had 

Trip was well organized and priced very fairly. The activities were fun and the staff was helpful in guiding us on what to do first to avoid long lines. I would consider other trips with this company in the future.

The day was beautiful. Joe was very informative and very perky which made the tour much more eventful. The apples were huge! And so where the pumpkins!

Great day of adventure

My sister and I absolutely loved our first wine tasting experience at three of the long island wineries.  We are even more delighted we chose the Soutce to guide us. The staff was amazing and the properties were just beautiful!! We are looking forward to the other activities and events the Source has to offer. I just have to mention that Maggie and Mike were absolutely the best!! They made the experience  even more pleasant. Can't wait for the next adventure 😊

Long island wine tour

Overall the experience was extremely pleasant. Our guides were awesome, as was the driver. However, for almost $200, I do believe more food options should’ve been provided, as well as the amount and condiments. During the tour, I couldn’t enjoy the sandwich as it was ONLY a turkey option AND not enough condiments were provided.

Great day trip!

We had a great time on the wine tour with sourced adventures! The guides Jo and the other guy with the man bun (sorry I can’t remember your name) were friendly and very helpful in assisting us capturing group photos. They kept the energy up all day. It was a breeze to book and get on the bus and go and not have to worry about the ends and out of everything.

I would definitely book this Apple Picking adventure again. We had a gorgeous day at Penning Farms. The farm is large with a wide variety of apples to pick from. The price to travel there and back from Manhattan includes 10 lbs of apples and a delicious apple cider bottle, what a bargain! The additional pumpkin patch was a cute location for pics and pumpkins. Our host, Jo was great!

The best trip 

Overall we had a great experience. The guides were very friendly and and trip was well-planned. We had a lot of fun tubing on the river - I only wish the tubing portion was longer!

A few areas that could use improvement:
- We re-scheduled our trip after it was cancelled the first time, and Sourced was concerned they had overbooked our new date. They were planning to kick a few people off the trip at the bus pickup if needed. This seems totally avoidable when you should know how many people are booked - and to kick them off when they are on time, packed up and ready to go is extremely poor planning. Luckily we had enough seats.
- Lunch was pretty lackluster overall, but it was abysmal for people with dietary restrictions. We had meatballs, pasta and salad. For two people in my group who had dietary restrictions (that had been communicated to Sourced in advance), they could only eat salad (essentially a plate full of iceberg lettuce).

Would book again, but it would be great to accommodate people with dietary restrictions better, or allow them to bring their own food for a partial credit.

Fun and well organized, tough for those with dietary restrictions

Had a lot of fun - my bf and I did the white water raft trip. Got picked up in NYC, took the bus to the rafting site and it was very organized. The rafting trip itself was a lot of fun, met some cool people and the water was beautiful. It was tough having to pause a fair amount of times to wait for everyone, but on the flip side it’s a pretty social trip which was fun! The guides were helpful and we got a quick swim in after lunch, it was the perfect amount of time on the water.
Overall the trip was fun, organized, and the perfect day trip to get away from NYC 😊

Amazing trip will do again 

I enjoyed the wine tour my wife and I went on with Sourced Adventures. I forget the names of the two young ladies, but they were so lovely, and overall, we had a great time. My only criticism is that I wish we had more wine. I don't think the price is justified based on what we received. We spent most of our time on the bus and got limited servings of wine. I would have enjoyed it more if we had gotten more wine.

Long Island Wine Country 

I booked this excursion along with 7 of my friends to celebrate my birthday. I have nothing but good things to say. It was a perfect way to spend the day and we got enough time in all 3 wineries to look around, take pictures or purchase wine bottles if we loved the be of the tastings. My favorite one was Raphael winery (the second one).
