Our Apple Picking NYC day trip includes transportation and everything else provided by the Sourced Team. This ensures the best apple picking experience in New York. Just enjoy a day of apple picking from NYC and it’s only 1.5 hours outside the city! On this day trip we’ll head out to Pennings Orchard in New York State where you will have the opportunity to stroll through the magnificent and plentiful orchard. Find your favorite apple and stock up – or grab a medley!
Each guest is welcome to pick 10 pounds of apples to take home. If you’ve got a few apple pies in the pipeline you can always opt to purchase extra on the day.
Cidery, Beer Garden & Food
Once you’ve picked the perfect bunch of sweet apples, head over to the family owned and run Cidery to grab a glass of their award-winning cider, or try a whole flight. Also, be on the lookout for their pizza truck out front! If cider and pizza are not your thing, you can wander over to Farmers Market and check out the attached Beer Garden. The Farmer’s Market also offers a Pub where you can order a tasty bite.
Farmer’s Market On-Site
The Cidery & Farmer’s Market with its Beer Garden is just a few minutes walk from the Apple Orchard itself. Between all the fun options and activities, you should have no problem filling your afternoon after you finish picking apples!
Easy Ride Back to NYC

Out of the city, but not as relaxing as hoped
Pick up and drop off were seamless. Raven and Zander had great energy and did their best to make a fun communal experience. I wanted to get out of the city and relax, but movies on the bus took away from enjoying the tranquility of viewing the beautiful scenery. And throngs of people at the orchard made it feel like NYC in an orchard.10/24/2021

Is lunch included?
No, lunch is not included. We recommend packing your own or purchasing nibbles at the farmers market, pizza truck or other options.
Are there other fruits to pick?
This is an apple lover’s heaven! There may be other fruits and vegetables available, but it depends on when you go and is very dependent on availability.
How many apples can I pick?
10 pounds! Apples for days!
Can I purchase extra apples?
Absolutely! You can purchase and pick extra apples on the day.
How much time do we spend at the farm?
Depending on what departure you choose in the morning from New York, we’ll spend about 5 hours at the farm including time for apple picking, eating and drinking.
Listen to your leaders for instructions on one time to meet back on the bus!

The trip is nonrefundable. No full or partial refunds are given to customers who miss the event. In the event of a cancellation by the operator, your ticket will be fully refunded. Event subject to change/cancellation based on weather/river/snow level conditions. All trips run rain or shine; in the unlikely event of a cancellation, you will be notified via email. There are no reschedules or refunds for missing the bus or no-shows. Each ticket is good for one (1) person unless specified otherwise. Trips involving alcohol are 21+, and a valid ID is required. All other trips are 18+. The deal is valid only for tickets on the date[s] of the event as listed and may not be exchanged or redeemed for any other dates. Provided transportation by Sourced Adventures is required; you may not drive yourself.
To attend any Sourced Adventures trip whether your ticket is purchased directly through Sourced Adventures, Inc. or any of its affiliates, distributors, or partners you are required to sign and submit a copy of our release of liability waiver before departure. We will collect your waiver on-site and by attending you must agree to our release of liability terms outlines in our waiver.
