We provide round-trip Hunter Mountain transportation from New York City, and multiple package options. Our goal is to take away all the stress from the equation and making it a perfect day trip from the city.
Convenient Pickups from NYC to Hunter Mountain
The day starts at Union Square or at W45th Street and 11th Avenue where you’ll board the NYC ski bus and head to the mountain. Once at Hunter Mountain, you will receive a lift ticket, equipment rental ticket and hot drink ticket. Our trained group leaders walk you through the steps of renting your skis or snowboard and helmet – if you need help.
Hit the slopes of Hunter Mountain
After gearing up, the day is yours and you can start exploring the slopes. Hunter Mountain has terrain for everyone, whether you are a complete novice or a total pro. With affordable ski/snowboard lessons, groomed runs, an epic terrain park, and a cozy base lodge restaurant options and a bar for an afternoon drink, it offers the best skiing and boarding in the NYC area. Where do I meet the bus?
We have great pickup options for the 20/21 winter season.
The first pickup is at Union Square (NW of UNSQ Park), 41 Union Square West on the corner of 17th St & Broadway
The second and final pickup is West 45th & 11th Ave on the street across from Gotham Market.
What time does the bus leave in the morning?
Click “CHECK AVAILABILITY” and select the date you’re interested in.
Go through the booking flow to see the pick-up times and locations for that date!
What should I bring?
Goggles, gloves, ski pants, ski jacket, and cash or credit card for lunch at the mountain. If you don’t have proper gear you can rent ski clothing from us (after booking we provide a link for clothing rentals). Hunter Mountain lift tickets are also included in the full-package. You can also rent clothes through this link here. Don’t forget your sense of adventure!
What time do we leave Hunter Mountain?
The NYC snow bus departs at 4:30 pm sharp. The ride back is around 2.5 hours depending on weather and traffic conditions.
How long is the trip?
The tour is 12-13 hours in total, depending on traffic and weather.
Is lunch included?
No, lunch is not included in your ticket. There are multiple food options at the mountain, which can be found at their the base lodge or summit lodge. There is also a bar onsite at the base.
Are there lockers available at the lodge?
Yes, there are lockers for use at the lesson center right after you go through the rental line. You can also leave anything you might need on the bus, as it will be safely secured for the entire day.
Do you need to know how to ski in order to go?
Nope! We do not discriminate against beginners. Just purchase the $25 group lesson ticket on site, and the staff at Hunter Mountain will get you up and riding in no time.
Are lessons available for purchase?
Yes! 90-minute lessons are available for just $25 (Normally $35) if you book in advance on our site.
Can I take the bus up on one day and the bus back on another?
Unfortunately, bus transportation is only valid for use within a single day. This is to ensure that all of our customers have available seats for the return to journey to NYC on any given day.
Can I drive myself?
Unfortunately driving yourself is prohibited. We do this for logistical and liability reasons. Don’t worry yourself with driving and directions to Hunter Mountain. We take care of all that for you.
What time does the bus leave the mountain?
The bus leaves Hunter Mountain to head back to NYC at 4:30pm sharp. We strongly recommend leaving yourself extra time to return your rentals so that you do not miss the bus home.

Trip is nonrefundable. No full or partial refunds are given to customers who miss the event. In the event of a cancellation by the operator, your ticket will be fully refunded. Event subject to change/cancellation based on weather/river/snow level conditions. All trips run rain or shine; in the unlikely event of a cancellation you will be notified via email. For reschedules within 10 days of departure there is a $35 rescheduling fee per person. There are no reschedules or refunds for missing the bus or no-shows. Each ticket is good for one (1) person, unless specified otherwise. Trips involving alcohol are 21+ , valid ID required. All other trips are 18+. The deal is valid only for tickets on the date[s] of the event as listed and may not be exchanged or redeemed for any other dates. Provided transportation by Sourced Adventures is required; you may not drive yourself.
In order to attend any Sourced Adventure whether your ticket is purchased directly through Sourced Adventures, Inc. or any of it's affiliates, distributors or partners you are required to sign and submit a copy of our release of liability waiver before departure. We will collect your waiver on-site and by attending you must agree to our release of liability terms outlines in our waiver.
