NY River Tubing
Our party of 4 had a great experience on our Sourced river tubing trip! Overall we felt our team leaders did a great job of coordinating a trip of a large group (~50 individuals) while navigating some obstacles along the way. - The bus ride to/from the event was clean, comfortable, and safe - The tubing experience itself was a great way to spend a summer day! - The post-tubing cookout while, nothing extravagant, was great. Burgers, dogs and drinks, what more do you need? Some FYIs for those who may not be super flexible... - It's best to bring whatever you need and not rely on the store for purchasing it. Things like water shoes or floating coolers are not guaranteed to be in stock. Ice was available for purchase. - You will 100% want a floating cooler! - Whatever you decide to bring on the river will get wet, so choose wisely! - It was a long 12-hour day as the river ran slow, so the tubing itself took about 4 hours. We didn't mind though, what's the hurry? - Expect to have to be patient. There were some delays with checking in with the river tubing company and then once you're checked in, you have to transfer form the Sourced coach bus, to yellow school buses (no AC) to the river's launch point. Again, overall great time and experience. Would recommend!07/26/2022
River Tubing Trip
Overall the trip was great and we enjoyed our time on the river however, the end wasn’t great. The trip was advertised with a bbq at a restaurant with the option to purchase beers. Cedar Rapids was not open to the public and there was no operating bar. We were given water or soda. The place felt deserted with the exception of a couple people handing out hamburgers. While this isn’t the end of the world, we were really looking forward to relaxing over lunch with a cold beer as it mentioned when we booked the trip. This is my second trip with Sourced Adventures and they are mostly a great time but I always wish there were more details about the itinerary and communication up front about changes that weren’t expected.

What is the Itinerary for the day?
Itinerary: (About an 11-hour day)*
- 8:30/9:00/9:30am: First Pickup at 85 Delancey St (Lower East Side)
- 9:00/9:30/10:00am: Pickup at West 45th Street & 11th Ave
- 11:00/11:30/12:00pm: Arrive at the Delaware River
- 11:30/12:00/12:30pm: Launch Tubes!
- 1:45/2:15/2:45pm: Take out and have lunch
- 4:15/4:45/5:15pm: Visit a local brewery
- 6:15/6:45/7:15pm: Return to Gotham Market
- 7:00/7:30/8:00pm: Return to Lower East Side
*Timing varies depending on pickup time, traffic and river speed.
When should I arrive for my trip?
Guests should arrive 10 minutes prior to their bus departure time from NYC.
What should I bring?
Good Question! We would recommend bringing a water bottle, a rain jacket, a change of clothes, a towel, sunglasses, sunblock and water shoes (old sneakers will work for this too!).
Can I drink on the bus?
Nope! Alcohol is not permitted on the buses in the morning and must be stashed under the bus for the trip up to the river. We also do not allow any hard alcohol or alcohol above 6% on this trip.
Are coolers permitted on the river?
While you are not allowed to drink on the bus in the morning (alcohol goes underneath the bus), coolers are permitted on the river. You can usually purchase coolers onsite at the river. However, stock is not guaranteed and due to supply chain constraints sometimes inventory is not available. Please plan accordingly.
Please note that glass bottles are not allowed in the water.

The trip is nonrefundable. No full or partial refunds are given to customers who miss the event. In the event of a cancellation by the operator, your ticket will be fully refunded. Event subject to change/cancellation based on weather/river/snow level conditions. All trips run rain or shine; in the unlikely event of a cancellation, you will be notified via email. There are no reschedules or refunds for missing the bus or no-shows. Each ticket is good for one (1) person unless specified otherwise. Trips involving alcohol are 21+, and a valid ID is required. All other trips are 18+. The deal is valid only for tickets on the date[s] of the event as listed and may not be exchanged or redeemed for any other dates. Provided transportation by Sourced Adventures is required; you may not drive yourself.
To attend any Sourced Adventures trip whether your ticket is purchased directly through Sourced Adventures, Inc. or any of its affiliates, distributors, or partners you are required to sign and submit a copy of our release of liability waiver before departure. We will collect your waiver on-site and by attending you must agree to our release of liability terms outlines in our waiver.
