Meet the Team
Founder & CEO
As the founder of Sourced Adventures, Kyle’s goal is to build the best adventure travel company around. Sourced Adventures has grown a small operation in 2013 to one of the most innovative travel companies in the industry.
He got his start in the outdoor industry guiding Yosemite National Park tours for Incredible Adventures, a tour operator based out of San Francisco, then went on to manage the New York City market for LivingSocial’s “Adventures” division overseeing the company’s local adventure programming in NYC.
Kyle’s expertise is delivering world-class experiences for our customers. He also loves to travel, play soccer, and ride his bike.
Director of Sales & Operations
As Director of Sales & Operations for Sourced Adventures, Matt is responsible for creating new experiences and managing our team of Group Leaders. Along with business development, he is constantly working to improve our operations as we take thousands of people out on adventures.
Matt started in the Outdoor Industry as a Trip Leader for Chewonki in Maine. After college in Vermont (where he Ski Patrolled), Matt guided for Overland in Costa Rica and then for LivingSocial’s Adventures in Mexico and Puerto Rico. Following two years in NYC’s tech scene, Matt was thrilled to join Sourced Adventures and work to help build a company that reflects his values and passions.
When he’s not in the office, Matt likes to travel and regularly enjoys escaping the city to hike, sail or ski or circumnavigate Manhattan by kayak!
Reservations & Support
An avid skier, Eli’s goal at Sourced Adventures is to carve great customer experiences like he carves powder. Assisting customers with queries, managing the reservation system and handling operations are the main responsibilities of a Reservations & Support Specialist. That and curating good times.
Getting his start in the industry as a Ski Instructor in Vermont, Eli was looking to turn his passion for the outdoors into a lifestyle and set his sights upon Sourced Adventures. Offering trips year-round, Sourced Adventures helps provide city dwellers with accessible and affordable ways to escape the city. Merging passion with occupation was suddenly attainable, and Eli hastily made his way to the big apple, eager to spread the joy of adventure.
With expertise in customer service, logistics, and chinese checkers, Eli was a perfect fit for Team SA. When not working you can find him eating Sri Lankan food or playing soccer.
Mai runs our Adventure Cafe. An extension of Sourced Adventures, Adventure Cafe is a concept cafe which aims to get New Yorkers out on day trips from NYC. Adventure Cafe is the face of the Sourced Adventures brand, it serves as our downtown pickup location for our trips, and is also a place for customers to purchase tickets and ask questions about the year-round adventures we offer. We also serve really great local coffee and food.
Born in Israel, Mai got the travel bug early on in her life when she moved to Chicago as a kid. You might say the traveling hasn’t stopped since.
Mai earned her stripes in the industry as a tour guide. She has guided trips all around the world and continues to pursue her passion for traveling, adventure and coffee!
Born in the Philippines and raised in Queens, Tristan is local legend addicted to travel. As a skateboarder sponsored by Monster Energy, Tristan was always comfortable around the camera and decided to take a crack at editing/photography, becoming a social media influencer in no time.
Never slowing down, he decided to pick up snowboarding on a Sourced Adventures Hunter Mountain trip. He submitted a fantastic fan edit, and got hired as the official photographer, videographer, and social-media manager for Sourced Adventures. We know talent when we see it.
A technological polymath, Tristan has merged his passion for the outdoors with savvy camera work and sleek editing to produce amazing content for Team SA. Just check out our Instagram @sourcedadventures to see his handiwork and make sure to give us a follow. He’s always stoked to see new fans, and if you’re lucky he might feature your greatest adventure. Well….maybe.
