This trip wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Amalfi Coast’s most alluring seaside towns of Minori, Positano, and Ravello where you’ll have the chance to experience true Italy as nature meets social life set to the background scents of sea, salt, wine, and seafood.

From the second we take off from Naples, you’ll be experiencing real Italy as we trek around the countries southern Coastline and show you the best that the Amalfi Coast has to offer.
We’ll see plenty of different places, but there will be plenty of free time where you’ll have the chance to kick your shoes off on one of Amalfi’s picture-perfect beaches or to grab a refreshing nip of Limoncello to help you cool down after a long day’s excursion. This trip to the Amalfi Coast is perfect for the traveler who isn’t afraid of a little adventure, wants to discover the beautiful history around every corner, and is ready to bask in the blue-lined waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Depart early morning from Naples as we make our way towards mainland Europe’s only active volcano and one of the most significant proofs of Roman Civilization. Enjoy a guided walk around the grounds of Pompeii/Mt. Vesuvius and learn the history behind the tragic eruption dating all the way back to 79 A.D. We know you’ll be hungry afterwards, so we’ve planned a pit stop where you’ll enjoy a filling lunch not far from Vesuvius. What’s a better way to accompany lunch than with some wine? Be ready to tour the vineyards and winery where you’ll learn a bit about Lacryma Christi production and then get the chance to taste five Lacryma Christi DOP wines to help you relax a bit.
We will wrap up our day by heading over to Sorrento, winding down with a tasting of some of Italy’s best limoncello produced right in the heart of this beautiful region.

Rise and shine in Sorrento, where we’ll be catching a hydrofoil boat and making our way over to the rich and famous island of Capri. Spend the day hiking and taking in the picture-perfect views Capri has to offer, as your tour leader gives you the lowdown on this Italian hotspot.
We will be making a visit to the Gardens of Augustus, a natural paradise known for its calming qualities and not to mention the panoramic views.
After the gardens, enjoy some time to free roam on your own around the port of Capri. We’d suggest grabbing a glass of vino or an ice-cold gelato – your choice!

We all know Italians love their cheese, and for good reason. This is a unique chance to visit a local cheese farm in the heart of The Amalfi Coast, where a local family uses the best milk of the region in the foothills of Sorrento and crafts a delectable experience for your senses. Where else on earth are you going to see how authentic mozzarella is crafted from simple cow’s milk?
After you’ve had your fill, we make our way back down to Amalfi’s crown jewel, Positano. Prepare yourself for this awe-inspiring, small Italian beach town crafted nearly with perfection right into the hillside. Wander around and enjoy the colorful buildings and tiny streets as you make your way through the heart of the Amalfi Coast.
Our day will come to an end at the nearby town of Minori, where you’ll have some time to rest up for another day in Amalfi.

Start your day high-up in Amalfi’s hidden treasure, located at 350 meters above the sea as you prepare for a hike through the Valley of the Mills. Along this trip, you’ll be admiring two separate villas along with their gardens hanging directly over the seashore, while passing by blooming lemon terraces and through medieval hamlets.
As we make our way to the bottom of the valley, we will take refuge in a shady, wooded fresh area where we enjoy the awe-inspiring views.
Our journey ends in Amalfi, where you’ll have free time to yourself for some wandering around or even a dip into the blue waters before making our way back to Minori by ferry.

No – you’ll have to get your own flights for this trip. We are not including flights to give you more freedom on how you get to the trip in case you want to travel somewhere different before or after.
Travel insurance is compulsory and mandatory in order to take part in the trip. Proof of insurance must be provided to Sourced Adventures at least 14 days prior to departure.
You’ll always need a valid passport for our international trips and we will let you know any other documents necessary including visas once you book your trip. We will help you get all the additional documents you need well before the trip leaves!
Group minimums must be met in order for the trip to run. Minimums are different for each trip, so please check the trip page to see the group minimum.
Once the minimum has been met, Sourced Adventures will contact those who have booked into the trip with a confirmation.
If the whole group is arriving on same flight on day 1 the leader will meet them at airport. If not, the leader will meet the group at hotel, so it depends on the group arrival time. We will let you know where to meet before your departure.
Yes! There will also be local guides throughout the trip.
On day one, you should arrive in the morning, midday, or early afternoon so you can be ready for the welcome meeting at 6:00PM. For departure day you can leave anytime. Please note checkout is at 12 pm the final day.
We have an included group arrival transfer which means that for the guests who arrive on the same day around the same time, the transfer is included. If you arrive later than we recommend, then you will have to get your own transfer to the hotel.
It will usually be fairly warm and sunny on this trip, so we recommend at least the following: sunscreen, hat, bugspray, sunglasses, warm weather clothes, bathing suit, sandals, good walking shoes, snacks, water bottle, etc.
We will need to know if you have any dietary requirements before the trip. We will make sure to communicate to our leaders and suppliers about any allergies or restrictions, but some things might be difficult to accommodate in certain areas. Please let us know ASAP once you book.
