Travel Style Culture & Adventure: Fully-Guided

Before you embark on any adventure, it’s easy to question whether or not it’s perfect for you. When it comes to Morocco, it’s an easy decision to make. With a rich history, energetic capital, and some of the most picturesque seaside towns in North Africa, you can expect a myriad of highlights to emerge on your travels. Some of these kaleidoscope colors can be captured on camera, but nothing can prepare you for the untouched beauty of the Moroccan countryside.

As you venture into the Atlas Mountains, you will notice how mountain village culture is an ideal accompaniment to the breath-taking views. In every home and every smile, you can experience Berber culture breathing life into the natural world. Even when you journey out to coastal towns, impossibly fresh seafood and nods to an iconic history are only two features you’ll never forget.

And then there is Marrakesh. With souks, mosques, and perpetual sun, there has never been a better place to create your own urban fairy tale. Not to mention your fellow explorers, who you can make lifelong connections with as you uncover the wonders of Morocco.

Make sure to drink in the pristine panoramas and Berber culture, and enjoy sweet tea in a traditional homestay overlooking the mountains.

Then, begin the hike to the Sidi Chamharouch shrine at a light pace, marvelling at this storybook world. After, indulge in the host family’s hospitality, and eat a homecooked lunch, made even better by the homely smell of warm bread and wood stoves. After experiencing this snapshot of Berber life, walk back to Ilmil and drive back to Marrakesh, where you can spend your evening soaking up more of the city.

Feeling refreshed from lunch, follow your local guide on a tour through the old medina, Jewish Mellah, port and skala (sea wall).
