Welcome to Cuba! A land rich with history, culture and delicious local flavor. On this Sourced Adventures exclusive tour, we’ll be based in the famed city of Havana for 4 nights and will show you the best that this magical island has to offer. We work exclusively with private partners for our tours and accommodation, unaffiliated with the Cuban government, so you can rest assured you’re supporting small businesses in the local economy.

During the course of this carefully crafted Cuba guided tour, you’ll spend your days exploring Cuba and will be accompanied the entire time by a trusted, local guide. This trip is perfect if you want to get off the beaten path in Cuba but do so with the security and peace of mind that comes with having all the details taken care of on this guided tour.


5 Day Cuba Guided Tour Itinerary

| Day 1: Friday – Welcome! |

Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be met by our charming local guide. From there you’ll jump right into an active afternoon focused on the local drink classic, the Mojito. You’ll head straight to the “Mojito Center” and enjoy a tasting and information session about this tart but sweet drink. That evening you’ll check into your room in an authentic, family-owned house and before heading to the Buena Vista Social Club for a Cabernet Show with dinner and drinks included. In the evening, feel free to explore or just head back to your accommodation for the night.

| Day 2: Saturday – Havana |

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll then embark on a day of exploration in Havana. The tour will be with run by your own local guide and the mode of transportation for the day will be the classic Cuban car. During the day you’ll have a chance to meet with locals, taste the local food and of course, take in the stunning sights offered by this fascinating city that’s so rich with history and classic architecture. We’ll take in the local churches, cruise down El Malecon stop by the Havana Forest and more. The day will include a relaxing break with an included authentic local lunch complete with a mojito per guest and some live music. That afternoon we’ll continue the exploration of Havana culminating in a visit to the Castle of El Morro. Stressed after a big day? We include a massage at your house before heading back out for a tasty dinner and free night on the town.

| Day 3: Sunday – Vinales & Countryside |

On our third day in Cuba, it’s time to Escape the City! After our delicious breakfast, we’ll hop back in our classic car to head out to the Vinales Tobacco region to learn all about that forbidden classic – the Cuban Cigar. In the morning we’ll enjoy a guided horseback ride before hopping in Canoe for a ride down local rivers. Following an adventurous morning, we’ll break for an authentic creole lunch. That afternoon, we’ll enjoy a Cigar tour to learn all about the history, production and secrets of the famous Cuban Cigar. Following our cigar education, we’ll head to an exhibition where we’ll learn more about the history – both before and after colonialism took its hold on this Caribbean island. That a Mojito class at a local restaurant in Havana (dinner on your own) before another optional free night on the town.

| Day 4: Monday – Beach Day! |

After such an action-packed few days – it’s beach time. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll head to the beaches of Santa Maria. Spend the morning enjoying the sun and water before enjoying an included lunch right on the beach. This restaurant is known for is fresh-caught, local seafood. After lunch we can go for a long walk or you can continue to enjoy the beach (it is a vacation, after all). That evening we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner with drinks and live music.

 | Day 5: Tuesday – Farewell |

Farewell! Depending on what time your flight departs, you’ll enjoy one final, hearty Cuban breakfast before returning to the airport. Of course, this final ride will also be in a classic car.

Is it legal for Americans to Travel to Cuba under the Trump Administration?

Short answer – YES 100%!

Since the Cuban Assets Control Regulations (CACR) went into effect on January 16th, 2015 there are 12 “authorized categories” under-which Americans may travel to Cuba.  These categories took the place of the previous law which had mandated a specific license.

This trip falls under the “Support for the Cuban People Travel”. Our trip covers the following requirements:

  • Our guests enjoy a full time schedule of activities that result with meaningful interactions with individuals in Cuba
  • Our guests stay in a private Cuban residences and not in large, government owned hotels
  • Our guests eat at private restaurants
  • Sourced Adventures has partnered with the most trusted, self-employed small business owners in cuba to help execute our carefully crafted itinerary

Can I travel as a single passenger?

Pricing for this trip is based on Double Occupancy. If you are traveling with a companion you will both need a ticket. If you are traveling solo you will need to select “Single Supplement” at check-out for an additional $195.

Are flights included?

No. Flights are not included in this package. You are responsible for purchasing your own flights.

What time do I need to book my flights for?

You will need to book flights that arrive before midday on day 1. On the final day, please book flights that depart after midday.

Do I need a Visa/Tourist Card?

Yes, you do! The Tourist Card is your responsibility to purchase through the airline that you book your tickets through. The Visa typically costs between $50-100 however you will need to reach out directly to the airline.

Tourist Cards are required for US passport holders to enter Cuba.

How may people will be on this trip?

The group size for this trip is 4-12 people.

Is there a minimum age minimum?

Yes! The minimum age limit for the trip is 21 years old.

Does Cuba accept American credit cards or debit cards?

No! You will need to withdraw cash in the USA and exchange it once you arrive in Cuba. You will be able to exchange your cash to convertible pesos at the airport.

Can I extend my trip?

Unfortunately we don’t offer the option to extend the package.

Is Travel Insurance Mandatory for this trip?

No but it is STRONGLY Recommended. We highly recommend that you purchase some form of travel insurance before going on this trip. It is highly recommended that you always travel with travel insurance.

Fine Print

No refunds or reschedules. Any deposits are non-refundable. If paying a deposit, final payment will be due in full either 60 days after booking or 60 before trip (whichever comes first). No full or partial refunds are given to customers who miss the trip. In the unlikely event that the trip is canceled, your ticket will be fully refunded. Each ticket is good for one person. You must plan to room with another guest. Valid ID required. The package is valid only for tickets on the date[s] of the trip as listed and may not be exchanged or redeemed for any other dates. All dates and occupancy subject to availability. Rates are based on rooms filled with two people and double occupancy. It is mandatory for guests to purchase some form of Travel Insurance before going on this trip.

In order to attend any Sourced Adventure whether your ticket is purchased directly through Sourced Adventures, Inc. or any of its affiliates, distributors or partners you are required to sign and submit a copy of our release of liability waiver before departure.
